PRO - TIPS

MEET YOUR CONSULTANT

Michael is a field-tested construction professional, property consultant, and author with over three decades of hands-on experience across residential, multi-unit, and disaster-response work.

His background spans Army Combat Engineering, emergency response and recovery, certified home inspection, insurance adjusting, and large-scale construction and renovation management. He has personally built, repaired, inspected, managed, and overseen projects ranging from single-family homes to multi-million-dollar apartment complexes—often stepping in when projects were already off track.

Michael’s approach is grounded in execution, risk awareness, and accountability. He does not rely on theory, sales language, or trends.

He evaluates properties and projects the way they perform in the real world—by structure, systems, sequencing, cost exposure, and long-term durability.

As the author of 'Before You Swing the Hammer', his work reflects the same principles that define his consulting: earned judgment, clear decision-making, and the discipline to prevent problems before they become expensive mistakes.

Clients work with Michael when clarity matters, time matters, and the cost of being wrong is too high.

PRO - TIPS

Water your foundation

In hot, dry weather, soil can shrink away from slab foundations and cause movement. Light, consistent watering 12–18 inches from the slab helps maintain soil moisture and reduce cracking—slow soak only, not flooding.

A/C CAPACITORS

A/C Units don't fail - the capacitor does.  Check it first before replacing the system.
